Michelle snyderman, LMHC

Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Greater Boston, MA

Every person has their own story to tell, and I believe every client is the expert of their own. I enjoy working alongside adult clients to provide a safe space for healing and growth. My goal is to help clients learn and understand themselves better in order to attain their personal goals through a client-centered approach to therapy. I have experience treating depression, anxiety, grief, mood issues, and relationship and family issues. I engage my clients in a couple of different treatment modalities, mainly Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) but I also pull from Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy (DBT).

I graduated from Northeastern University with a Masters in Counseling Psychology and I have experience in both hospital and community center settings. I sought out opportunities to enter private practice as I am drawn to the opportunity to deeply connect with my clients. I believe every client is at a different point in their journey and therefore always aim to meet them where they are at.

Self-care is extremely important and I make this a forefront of my work with clients to determine what can be helpful for each person. I strive to take a client-centered approach to ensure that each person is getting the support and help they are looking for.

In my free time, I enjoy traveling, baking, and spending time with my cats at home, both of which may make appearances in telehealth sessions from my home office! I look forward to working together.
