Jaimee Savchuk, lcsw

Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Greater Boston, MA

Therapy should be a space to explore, understand and transcend. As a therapist of color, I value creating a safe space where clients can be their full authentic self. I embrace a holistic approach by supporting clients in developing a sense of personal wholeness through mental, emotional, physical, social and spiritual health. Therapy with me will provide you with a place to heal, as well as gain perspective, insight, solutions and some tools to help you navigate life a little easier.

I received my B.S. in Psychology from Howard University and my Master of Social Work from Simmons University. My passion is working with culturally diverse populations and supporting them through a deeper exploration of their identity. For the last 8 years, I have done community mental health work in the greater Boston area with late teens, adults, elderly, and the LBGTQ+ community. I work with individuals experiencing anxiety and depression to unpack trauma, build self-esteem and a sense of self-worth, and identify/accomplish life goals.

Treatment modalities vary depending on the client’s individual wants and needs. Modalities can range from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Supportive Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy to name a few.

As a form of self-care, I enjoy being outside in the sun and traveling to new places. Traveling allows me time to disconnect and recharge.

Providing therapy is truly a passion of mine and I hope to embark on this journey with you!
